I found the sessions very professional but informal, organised and well structured and the frequency was appropriate, fitting in with my day job. Sessions were always confidential and I felt comfortable enough to raise anything whether it being work life or family based.  Prior to the sessions my confidence, motivation and self esteem were at an all time low but through the process I feel each of these areas have improved significantly. The DISC profiling gave me an appreciation of my own characteristics, as well as others, and gave me an understanding as to why people reacted in the way they do, I’ve learnt these reactions aren’t personal to me which has helped greatly in building my confidence. I’ve come to understand what I need as a person and that my opinion and needs are as valid as anyone else’s. I now have an awareness of setting goals, and the need to understand and plan how I’m going to get there, thinking about what the measures of success are to me and that not achieving is not always a failure. I’m now also far more conscious of being assertive and of my tone, body language and communication styles based on the individuals I’m interacting with.

I would highly recommend that anyone offered similar sessions to these should make the most of the opportunity, anyone embarking on this process can take something from this time which in turn will improve working or personal relationships or both and overall attitude and mind set. Throughout the process I felt you listened really well, you were always engaged and your feedback always constructive. Through your support I finally, for the first time in a long time, am enjoying my role.
